GT WORLD CHALLENGE AMERICA

Now going by the name “GT World Challenge America,” the Pirelli World Challenge is a North American race series founded in 1990 by the Sports Car Club of America. It is currently operated by the SRO (Stéphane Ratel Organization).

With seven different driver classes, there are ten different racing weekends often held together with IndyCar races. Many fans hit the race venue to admire the beautiful machinery. The GT class includes some of the highest-end manufacturers, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, McLaren, and Porsche. The series has been broadcasted on the Speed TV Network since 1996, and also on sports channels in North America, such as NBC Sports Network from 2010 and CBS Sports Network from 2015.
