Not an easy weekend for us. In Race 1 Yuki got off to a great start taking the lead in class for a few meters, but drama awaited at the first corner with a contact which upset the car a bit. From there it was damage control, and we managed until the checkered flag.
A similar fate occurred to Race 2 when I started the race, and while in the mist of the pack in the first lap a direct competitor touched the back of our car causing a flat tire… I had to pit to change the tire, and being the Lime Rock track so small I was barely able to exit without losing a lap. Of course, it did happen a few laps later when I got caught by the overall leader, and from there it was game over.
Not a good couple of races for us, but we’ll take the few positives of this weekend and make sure that we will come back stronger in the next ones!
