Plenty to forget from our last two races. We showed pace but lacked in luck (can you even say that?).
This time we didn’t find the right balance for the car and were lacking pace on new tires, but the race setup seemed to be balanced enough to permit us to take some chances.
At the race start, in fact, I was able to push from P12 to P5 and was holding the pace consistently until… back luck stroke again. A technical issue with or rear right tire rim forced us to park the car and call it a day after just 30 minutes. A great shame as I was looking forward to giving it all out in this beautiful track! I am looking to be back to get a better result in France.
When things don’t go your way, you just have to look ahead, at least that’s the way I see it. The motivation is high for the next one, home race in Monza!
