It was nice to be back in the mix and fight for the whole length of the race this time. I missed it. Our previous two races at Red Bull Ring and Le Castellet got cut short way too soon and left a profoundly bitter taste.
Once you are in the fight, well, you play your cards. This time the masterful race strategy by the team didn’t play out because of a late FCY that cut all the advantage we accumulated, so we missed out on the top spots. But it was nice to be out there, to battle and finish in the points.
The wait for the next one is quite long, but I’ll try to use the time to prepare myself for the next challenge!
