The Rolex 24h of Daytona!

The past weekend presented one of the most important events of the motorsport year. Most of all, it marked my first attendance to the Rolex 24h of Daytona.

It was a great experience! I was helping the Dream Racing Team as spotter for the drivers. The spotter role is challenging and extremely important for the drivers. Since the driver are constantly facing traffic, they need a spotter to guide them. This is to be expected in a 24h race with 4 classes of cars competing at the same time. It turned out to put to the test endurance and focus. While we did a great job, we didn’t have the best of luck with the car. Adrenaline was pumping for the entire 24 hours, and it almost felt like I was in the car with the drivers at times.

It was definitely a memorable time. Living the race makes you really understand why every driver is eager to come back every year.
